Coffee-roasting is an exacting
process, and there are many different roasting methods. The drum roasting technique is what we use to roast the
traditional kind of coffee. Besides that method, high-volume assembly-line roasting, in
which the coffee is hot-air roasted in only 4-6 minutes, but the
quality is inferior to drum-roasting. Many state in their advertising that their coffee undergoes a special and secret roasting
method to get its good taste. But, cannot get really good flavor for inferior coffee, no matter how
"special" their roasting methods. Rather, one needs first-class quality coffee beans, and then to
roast them properly. |

Where no
good taste is in the bean, none results from even the most refined
roasting method.

Therefore, we put our value in
good quality beans and a traditional roasting method. Our commercial
drum roaster meticulously maintains the optimal roasting conditions –
temperature, air flow, and time–bringing our beans to their full flavor potential. |

its striking flavor, opulent body and a pronounced, but not dominant

Exposing coffee to extended air
and light robs it of its delicate flavor nuances. Thus, we pack our coffee in opaque, airtight polyethylene
bags, immediately after roasting. This guarantees the roast-fresh flavor it s not lost from the
beans. Our coffee can be stored by our customers for up to 6 months in
the packaging, without losing flavor and freshness.

Our roasting and packaging
installations are constantly examined by the Costa Rican Ministry of
Health, the organization that issues us our operating permit for the
production and packing of roasted coffee. Within one working day, the
roasted and packaged coffee is ready for exportation.. |
